In this second instalment of his "Three Colours", Krzysztof Kieslowski tells the story of Karol, the Polish hairdresser, and his French wife Dominique. Karol has lost everything after his divorce from Dominique; he can't even go back to Poland and refuses to become a murderer for money. After finally managing to return to his country, he embarks on various ventures and falls into the trap of his revenge on Dominique, but finally (re)winning her love.
