At the end of the 19th century, Empress Elisabeth of Austria-Hungary - better known as Sisi - lives in an aristocratic female commune in Greece. Countess Irma is sent to Sisi as a companion and immediately becomes fascinated by the eccentric and extravagant recluse. But the outside world tries to break Sisi. No matter how fiercely Irma and Sisi resist, ultimately only one fateful path seems to remain that will bind the two women together forever.
