LES 400 COUPS

Barely fourteen, Antoine Doinel has nothing but trouble, both at school and at home. He skips school with his friend René to avoid having to answer to his teacher, to whom he owes a punishment. In the street, he sees his mother in the arms of her lover. The next day, he returns to school without a word of apology, and hopes to get away with telling the teacher that his mother is dead!
