The longest dictatorship in Latin America ended in Paraguay in 1989. After 34 years in power, Alfredo Stroessner and the army under his command destroyed most of the country's film archives. The material produced by the military government and used to create an image of the nation was then destroyed by the same forces to prevent possible reinterpretations. Now, with the help of recovered material, the film attempts to tell this untold story.
