Joseph, one of the last goatherds on the Corsican coast, receives a visit from the Mafia, who want his land for a real estate project. He refuses to give in. After unwittingly killing the man sent to intimidate him, he becomes the target of a merciless hunt. As the days go by, Joseph becomes a legend, embodying a resistance previously considered impossible.
