On the occasion of La, Foire du Livre, Palace is pleased to organize a special screening of BLADE RUNNER, chosen and introduced by Japanese mangaka John Tarachine on the occasion of her visit to Belgium to promote her manga Ocean Rush.

A rising star in the manga world, John Tarachine is the author of Ocean Rush, one of the runaway successes of recent years, voted best women's manga of 2022 in Japan. With talent, humor and sensitivity, the Japanese artist deals with precious subjects: intergenerational friendship, mourning, life after retirement... but also, and above all, the seventh art. Drawing on her cinephilia and her own experience as a film student, John Tarachine delivers a vibrant tribute to cinematic creation, recounting behind-the-scenes stories, the torments of the artist and reflections on point of view.

A book sale and signing session will be held at the Palace from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.
