MASTERCLASS 

One Thursday per month, the Palace highlights a technical profession in cinema. In partnership with film schools, the André Delvaux Academy, the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, and mediarte.

In October, Perrine BIGOT will talk to us about the profession of child coach, particularly for the film L'INTÉRÊT D'ADAM. The masterclass will be preceded by a screening of the film and will be held in French. 

Specializing in remedial education, I work in the field of education with students with special needs, in collaboration with teachers and parents. 
Nine years ago, I worked on the film “Drôle de père” by Amélie van Elmbt (Joe Rohanne) from Les Films du Fleuve. 
While working with Lina Doillon, I discovered the profession of child coach, which I am passionate about. 
Since then, I have worked on several projects close to my heart: “Un monde” by Laura Wandel, “Les enfants perdus” by Michèle Jacob, “L'intérêt d'Adam” by Laura Wandel (and two other films coming soon). 

I have developed a creative and flexible approach and methodology, which I adapt to each project. 
I offer a very specific methodology for supporting children during the filming of a movie: from the conception of the film to the shooting, I create tailor-made tools adapted to the needs of the film, the requirements of the team, and the needs of the children. 
My mission is to provide a safe and caring environment for the child and to ensure quality through high standards and flexibility throughout the creative process. What I am passionate about: putting my skills to work in the service of an artistic endeavor, helping children give their best to make a film conceived and produced by an entire team.

Synopsis : Adam, a 4-year-old boy, is admitted to hospital for malnutrition following a court ruling. Head nurse Lucy decides to give his mother extra time with her son, despite the strict visiting hours imposed by the judge. But when the mother refuses to leave him again, the situation escalates. Determined to help the child, Lucy does everything she can to assist the desperate mother.
