CLASSIC SHORTS - 35 mm

US, 66', NO DIAL , VO EN ST FR/NL

Spanning the era of silent film slapstick comedy and the early days of sound cinema, this program brings together some of the major figures in the history of cinema. Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton showcase their comic genius in visual gags that have become legendary, while Duke Ellington and the duo Patsy Kelly & Thelma Todd illustrate the evolution of cinema in the early 1930s, at a time when music, dialogue, and rhythm were transforming the cinematic experience.

A journey through styles and eras, rediscovering on the big screen the energy, inventiveness, and humor that shaped the foundations of modern cinema.
