Go back

Palace organizes two joint exhibitions within its walls as part of the festival "There, make a film!". The opening will take place on February 28th and the exhibitions will stay for a month.

These are: ENFANTS MODELES (Graphoui) & BRUT (Créahm-Bruxelles / Zorobabel).

BRUT: the project was made by the artists of Créahm-Bruxelles (Creativity and mental disability) with the Zorobabel team. They give the opportunity to people with disabilities to express themselves through short animated films. Brut is a series of films that take on the finery of experimental films, trailers, reviewed fables and tales as well as epic stories. The artists of the project are: Willy De Smedt, Mike Desmet, Julien Detiège, Mohamed El Mahmoudi, Gaetan Eugène, Shérazade Gharbi, Paloma Gonzales, Jessy Ilunga, Richard Moszkovitz, Kirill Patou, Nouzha Serroukh, Daniel Sterckx, Virginie Vandezande & Géraldine Vink. With the support of the Centre du Cinéma et de l’Audiovisuel, secteur des Centres d’Expression et de Créativité of the Federation Wallonia-Brussels, and the French Community Commission.

"ENFANTS MODELES": this is the project of Véronique Crosset and Lucie Duckerts-Antoine who invited children to draw their portraits and reimagine their lives aboard a laboratory caravan named La Léa. From this experience arised a book and an exhibition, a collection of stories and adventures. The project depicts the world and the young through the prism of La Léa, with images and words. It is also a dream, that of a transformed city. This was made by the Atelier Graphoui asbl within the framework of the Places Communes workshops, supported by the French Community Commission, the City of Brussels, the Brussels Capital Region, and the sector of Centres d’Expression et de Créativité, of the Centre du Cinéma et de l’Audiovisuel of the Federation Wallonia-Brussels.

From February 29th to March 24th as part of the festival "There, make a film".
