CLUB 35

One Thursday a month, the Palace offers a "cinema classic" to see or re-see on the big screen.

Once again, thanks to an exceptionally rare print, we are able to screen Oliver Stone's rocambolical work "U-Turn", with a musical score by Ennio Morricone. But why put this film in the nostalgic film farewell category? Without giving too much away, nothing - absolutely nothing - goes according to plan. To accentuate the "failed" aspect of all the action, Oliver Stone decides to use some rather surprising silver photographic special effects. For nostalgic viewers, the film is a precious historical testimony to the days of film, but is no longer visible today with the original color drift effects that gave the colors an interesting peculiarity. We have found an original, untouched copy, which we would be delighted to share with you....
