CLUB 35

One Thursday a month, Palace offers a "classic film" to see or re-see on the big screen.

"The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" is a great classic Western by the master of the genre, John Ford. In 1962, the "format war" came to an end. Formats became standardized, and John Ford now mainly shot in a panoramic format, which he considered more suitable for his filmic narratives. John Ford would say at the end of his career that he didn't appreciate large format scope and the like...

Le Palace will present the film in its original black & white version.
