To mark our exhibition ORIGINS OF CINEMA: Magic Lanterns, Cinematograph, and Pioneer Projectors, Palace is offering a special program! 

This workshop invites children to discover one of the earliest ancestors of cinema: the magic lantern.

After a brief introduction to this fascinating device and its history, participants will be invited to imagine and draw their own short stories on transparent paper. Their creations will then come to life with the lantern's light, accompanied by sound effects.

A fun and creative experience to explore early forms of image projection and unleash the imagination.
