Landi catches crocodiles with his bare hands in a swamp. On the coast, his wife Mercedes takes care of their autistic son. The days pass and Mercedes grows impatient. He eventually returns, laden with meat, which they exchange for other goods to stay alive until he has to return to the swamps.
