MASTERCLASS - CO-SCREENWRITTER- SIX JOURS, CE PRINTEMPS-LÀ
MASTERCLASS
One Thursday per month, the Palace highlights a technical profession in cinema. In partnership with film schools, the André Delvaux Academy, the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, and mediarte.
In December, Chloé Duponchelle will talk to us about her work as a co-screenwriter, notably for the film SIX JOURS, CE PRINTEMPS-LÀ. The masterclass will be preceded by a screening of the film and will be held in French.
Born in France, in the Lille region, on February 3, 1995, Chloé Duponchelle moved to Brussels in 2015 to join the Film Directing department of the Institut des
arts de diffusion (IAD), after completing a preparatory class in literature and social sciences in Douai. In 2020, she directed Clébards, her graduation film, an intimate short film recounting the wanderings of three characters in the industrial countryside of northern France.
After completing her studies in 2021, she joined the writing team for the film Un Silence, written and directed by Joachim Lafosse. She accompanied the project through to filming as a script supervisor.
In 2023, she co-wrote the film 6 jours ce printemps-là with Joachim Lafosse and participated in the filming in the hybrid role of script supervisor and continuity supervisor. She is currently developing her first feature film, an exploration of family ties in a world steeped in fantasy.
